The domnick hunter GES Siloxane Removal System Finally, a cost effective & guaranteed siloxane removal solution http://www.gesbydh.com/files/GES_IntroSheet_v2.pdf Who we are domnick hunter - a division of Parker Hannifin - has led the industry for more than 40 years in the technological advancement of filtration, separation, and purification of air & gas. We are known for our commitment to research and development and are backed by a network of engineers and service professionals with representation in more than 20 countries around the world. What we do domnick hunter has developed a revolutionary system for siloxane removal from landfill and digester gas. This is the only system on the market that offers a cost effective siloxane removal solution backed by a long term performance guarantee. Your 5 step solution to guaranteed siloxane removal includes: 1. A Detailed Onsite Audit – An engineer will visit your site to meet with you and to confirm the exact parameters and goals of your application. We will review the installation site, measure the conditions of the gas, and take samples to analyze its composition. This audit will form the basis of our quote, and will determine the specifics of the performance guarantee. 2. A GES Siloxane Removal System – A siloxane removal system consisting of twin stainless steel towers of a specialized adsorptive siloxane removal media. While the siloxane is being removed from the gas stream by one tower, the other tower is regenerating. This system will be designed around your specific needs taking into account the results of the on site audit and your requirements for gas quality. 3. Factory Start Up & Commissioning – A trained service professional will be on site to start up and commission the GES unit to ensure your satisfaction from the very first day. We will not consider the job complete until the unit is dialed in and providing outlet siloxane levels at or below those outlined in the performance guarantee. 4. Validation, Calibration & Media Replacement – Each month a trained service professional will visit your facility to take gas samples to validate performance of the system, performing any necessary calibration to adjust to changing gas conditions, and performing media replacement when required for the length of the guarantee. The cost of this service is included in the original quote – so there are no hidden expenses. 5. Guaranteed Performance & Quality – Each system comes complete with a one year equipment warranty & 5 year performance guarantee. If our system is unable to achieve the siloxane levels outlined in the purchase order, we will accept return of the equipment and refund all payments. How it works • The GES Siloxane Removal System is comprised of a specialized siloxane removal media in a fully automatic twin tower, blower purged, stainless steel processing system installed on a steel skid, and includes all controls required for operation. • This is the only regenerative system that continuously meets or exceeds the original equipment manufacturer’s specifications for fuel gas siloxane content. While one tower adsorbs siloxane using a specialized blended media the other regenerates, exhausting the collected siloxane to a flare or thermal oxidizer. • The GES Siloxane Removal System can be adjusted to handle a wide range of operating parameters including pressure temperature, flow and gas quality. Typical systems are designed to handle up to 3000 cfm at 100 degrees F and 15 psig. Larger systems, higher pressures and specific outlet concentrations can be accommodated on request. This document is for marketing purposes only and is not intended to imply any liability. General Description • Stainless steel is used for all pressure vessels, piping and valves. Vessels are designed to the requirements of ASME Section VIII, and piping is designed to the requirements of ANSI B31.1 with Class 150 flanges. • Heaters use low watt density elements with outlet temperature controls suitable for use in a Class 1 Div 2 environment and are fully insulated for personnel protection. • Electrical enclosures are stainless steel, providing NEMA 4X ingress protection, and are purged and pressurized for a Class 1 Div 2 environment. • Operation is controlled using a PLC with a full color interactive digital display on a panel mounted operator interface. • Safety features include alarm contacts for connection to a site management system, and cycle control and safety overrides interlocked to the PLC via valve limit switches, temperature controls and pressure transmitters. • High efficiency 0.01 micron coalescing pre-filtration and 1 micron particulate after filtration is provided. Filter elements are contained in stainless steel housings designed to ASME Section VIII. Typical Installation Requirements The following requirements are the responsibility of the installer: • Meeting all local codes, and installing the equipment in a location suitable for operation and maintenance. • A single point 460/3/60 power supply via a suitable fusible disconnect, • Inlet & outlet connections including a 3 valve block and bypass, • Purge exhaust connection to a local flare stack including a flame arrestor device, • Connection of the condensate drain ports to a local condensate treatment or storage facility, • Connection of alarm contacts and alarm monitoring, • Single point instrument quality air. Start up and commissioning will be performed by a factory trained service technician, on your schedule. Maintenance Agreement All quotes include a maintenance agreement that covers monthly performance validation, inspection, calibration and media replacement by a trained service professional for a period of 5 years from the date of successful commissioning. This agreement is a requirement of the performance guarantee and must be purchased with the equipment. Performance Guarantee Based on the results of the onsite audit and the requirements of your application, we will guarantee the performance of your GES Siloxane removal System with respect to average outlet siloxane concentrations at atmospheric pressure. Performance will be validated using the GC/MS method and Tedlar bag sample collection. A third party laboratory authorized by domnick hunter will be used to analyze the samples to confirm compliance to the guaranteed performance levels. Alternate sample collection and/or test methods may be considered. This guarantee will be valid for the duration of the 5 year maintenance agreement. Prior to the end of the 5 year agreement, the customer can choose to extend the agreement and the performance guarantee for an additional 5 years. Failure to meet the guaranteed performance levels will result in immediate action by domnick hunter, at our cost, to calibrate, repair or replace components or media as necessary to achieve the necessary performance levels. In the unlikely event that the GES siloxane removal equipment does not meet the agreed performance levels for siloxane removal, and our efforts to correct the performance are not successful within 6 months, domnick hunter group will accept return of the equipment and a refund of all payments.
