TASK MANAGER AND GMAILThis is a featured page

This TASK MANAGEMENT page is available for our collaboration. The tools are:

  • tmalgaloildiesel@gmail.com If we continue to use this email address and save all of the letters, we will have a record and a backup. The user name is: tmalgaloildiesel@gmail.com. The password and answer to the question will be sent to your private email address.
  • Customer Resource Management. FreeCRM.com offers a free, ad supported, hosting for contact information, calendaring, task lists and much more. An account has been setup for our use. Here's the URL:
  • Attached is a spreadsheet which is a more detailed list of tasks and associated data. Liberal use of COMMENTS allows for expanded text relative to a specific cell.
  • Wikipages are primarily for joint work. Rather than a forum, blog or exchange of emails, we can document our collective ideas on "whiteboard" pages".
When we achieve funding and a large project, we will need a construction management and planning software package. I've examined many project management and planning packages. The best for the money so far is Sage Master Builder. You can get a demo CD and see how really complete this program is for managing large projects. The demo URL is: http://www.sagecre.com/products/see_demo To order a CD demo (recommended), fill in the form at: http://www.sagecre.com/request_info

The prices quoted for Sage Master Builder is 2500 per seat, 1500 per year for support of up to three seats and $200 for a three hour, personal instruction. About 10 years ago, I got the trial version of Master Builder, then owned by a different company and tried to learn that DOS bases system. I was not impressed and instead designed an Excel bases system which I use to good advantage on the $600,000 Mt. Israel Recreational Site job. Since then Sage bought the system and did a massive upgrade to a fully Windows system. The "Commercial Contractor" demo I got really is fully functional and would meet all of our work estimating, job costing, job cash flow and scheduling. The only part it does not do is document and drawing control, which will not be much of a problem for us when we get into construction of the algae and biodiesel production plants.

I plan to accelerate my study of Google SketchUP for 3D modeling and start on the working drawings for the ponds and the extractor. Google Sketchup probably can be our drawing management package -- not sure.
